Brocade Atelier is a free, browser-first planning space for textile projects. It is designed to make basic rectangular nesting, fabric estimates, project comparisons and portable exports accessible to more people.
Its visual identity draws on paper, lacquer, jade and brocade traditions, while its algorithms and limits are stated in plain language. No cloud account, proprietary paid API, or sign-up is required to use the current edition.
It is intentionally not a pattern drafting application or manufacturing-grade cutting engine. Always test a physical mock-up and check grain, stretch, print alignment, nap and seam placement before cutting valuable cloth.
We do not publish invented customer reviews or claim that a heuristic arrangement is the mathematical optimum.
